Testimonials

The staff at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center -all ranks were wonderful with my Dad during his short stay there before he passed. They were truly invested in him and his care. They treated him as an individual, with a name and a story... not just room number ##. They always tried to provide any specific care they could, dietary modifications, extra snacks or chocolate shakes to boost weight. He was clean, dressed and gotten up daily as much as he would tolerate. They really care about the residents sense of pride and dignity for themselves. They always tried to make him and us as his family as comfortable as possible, keeping us involved in his care, not just from a “this is what we are doing” standpoint, rather they would propose, “we think this might be helpful”, “what do you think, is that something we can do?” In addition to the healthcare workers I saw employees of all types, often giving of their own time to do something nice for a resident, even just spending time with them... Theirs is one of the toughest jobs, especially with Covid. These guys are the best.. Thank you for being so caring in such a difficult time in our lives! I highly recommend Pleasant Valley Nursing Center if your loved one needs care whether rehab or LTC.

I’ve visited Pleasant Valley Nursing Center numerous times over the past few months since my grandfather became a resident there. While the process of transitioning any family member to a nursing facility can be difficult, the staff at Pleasant Valley have shown my family kindness and compassion throughout the process. It’s heartwarming to see staff members genuinely care about my grandfather each time I am there to visit. Thank you to all the staff members who consistently provide comfort and smiles to my grandfather and the rest of my family!

“I would like to take a minute to mention how thankful I am for the care my Mom is getting at PV. It breaks my heart to have to have her in such a facility at all, but I do trust those who have been given her as their charge. I would especially like you to know how thankful I am for Tabitha.  I don't know her last name, but I'm sure you know whom I'm talking about. I personally feel that she goes above and beyond many of the other aids. I am impressed with her communication with my Mom and the excellent care she gives her. I leave knowing that Mom is in good hand when Tabitha is with her, and that gives me great peace of mind. I appreciate her kindness and through care, and wanted to share this with you, her administrator.  The LNAs don't have an easy job. Some rise to the occasion and others don't.  Thank you for your time, I know you must be very busy.

“Good place to work. The new management works hard to support the staff. The residents are in a good hands. They feel at home here.”

My Mom has been at Pleasant Valley for almost one year. I have only positive things to say. They have exceptional staff from nursing to maintenance to food service. They have plenty of activities for the residents and provide hair cutting and styling on site. Our family feels very comfortable having our Mom stay here.

The staff at Pleasant Valley is very kind and caring. They are also extremely attentive and have really gone the extra mile during the COVID pandemic to keep patients/residents connected to family. My dad has been in several facilities over the past 2 years and this has been the best experience by far.
