We take pride in our loyal, highly skilled and compassionate caregivers at each center.  Every center has a quality assurance and performance improvement team dedicated to continuously monitor outcomes (including customer satisfaction) and implement plans to improve them to be the best in class.  Our dedicated staff are consistently aligned and engaged with these plans and participate to position the center to be the most requested. 

Meet the Staff

Meghan Linehan

  • Meghan started at Pleasant Valley as the Administrator in March of 2023. Before Pleasant Valley, Meghan served in a variety of administrative roles, but primarily as a nursing home administrator in the seacoast of New Hampshire. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Management and Policy graduating Honors from the University of New Hampshire where she was awarded with the Early Career Alumni Leadership award in 2023. Meghan most recently was awarded the McKnight’s Women of Distinction Rising Star Award in May of 2025. She is also a current board member on the New Hampshire Board of Nursing Home Administrators. Meghan’s goal at Pleasant Valley is to maximize independence and quality of life for the residents and patients. In her free time, Meghan enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her friends, loved ones and goldendoodle.

Jeff Singster

  • Jeff graduated with a master's degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of New Hampshire in the winter of 2018. He has been involved within the facility since 2017—working as a rehab aide and an occupational therapist prior to transitioning to director of rehab. Jeff has always loved working with the geriatric population, and finds inner joy being able to connect and provide services to the geriatric residents. In Jeff’s free time he enjoys the outdoors, playing/watching sports and spending time with his family/friends.

Dr. John Wheeler

  • Dr. Wheeler received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at the Crozer Keystone Health System in Philadelphia. Dr. Wheeler is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He began practicing at DMC Primary Care in 1999 and works out of the main Derry office.

Lynne Novotny

  • Lynne comes to us with over 25 years of experience working with the geriatric population, most recently with Genesis HealthCare for 21 years as a clinical liaison. There she worked directly with the admissions teams and hospital partners with which she strong and longstanding relationships. Lynne earned her master's degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania with a specialization in healthcare. Her goal is to provide compassion and knowledge to potential patients, residents and families as they make their transitions into our skilled nursing or long-term care setting. In her free time, Lynne enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as working out on her Peloton bike.

Amanda Rearick

  • With over ten years of healthcare experience in both assisted living and hospice care, Amanda brings a unique blend of clinical compassion and administrative expertise to her work. Amanda has held both hands-on caregiving and leadership roles, all grounded in a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families. Her passion lies in providing comfort, dignity, and support—no matter the circumstance. Outside of her professional life, Amanda enjoys relaxing at the beach, exploring new places, baking, and spending quality time with her family. She is also actively involved in the Derry community, serving as a youth leader at her local church, where she supports and mentors the next generation.

Sara Shaw, RN, BSN

  • Sara comes to us with many years of long term care experience in the SNF/LTC setting, including rehabilitation and assisted living/memory care. Most recently she served as the Resident Care Director at Benchmark Senior Living for 4 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rivier University. Sara has spent her entire nursing career with the geriatric population striving to improve the quality of life for every resident she has had the honor of working with. Sara believes in an individual approach to caring for the geriatric population and that a resident centered approach is the best way to achieve exceptional care. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, children and friends. She is also a big Patriots and Bruins fan!
