Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center Announces New Ownership!

In July 2022, Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center transferred ownership to a new management group led by East Derry, New Hampshire native Sean Stevenson.

Stevenson’s extensive experience in the long-term care space spans over 25 years of operating centers in New England and he was once the Administrator at Pleasant Valley from 1999-2002.  Now he is back as one of the owners as lead operator and his goal is to allow every resident to experience the best quality of care and life while maintaining or regaining function, health, and well-being.

Stevenson and his accomplished staff are determined to set a standard of excellence for an essential sector in his community. “We have a tremendous opportunity and responsibility to work with our local healthcare providers and be a trusted partner for that critical continuum of care.  We need to be reliable and counted upon by the greater Derry community to provide the highest of quality care and achieve our mission which is that our energized and engaged team of compassionate caregivers enhances the lives of each customer we care for.”

Administrator Meghan Linehan (p: 603-537-6461, email: MLinehan@pleasantvnc.com) and Michelle Cornish, Director of Admissions (p: 603-537-6470, email: mcornish@pleasantvnc.com) are excited to partner with local hospitals to develop seamless communication and efficient placements. The staff at Pleasant Valley looks forward to building a culture of excellence and to being a trusted provider in their community.  New developments such as the reopening of a 20-bed rehab and medical specialty unit is an example of these efforts.  It will be used as a clinically complex short stay unit for post-acute care patients with discharge plans to the next stabilized level of care.  The new management has also recently added several Managed Care and Insurance contracts.  Plus, they have contracted with a new Pharmacy partner to serve all the medication needs of their patients when at the center and for their first 30 days after being discharged home.

More than ever, the new leadership at Pleasant Valley is prepared to provide reliable and exceptional care!
